The Washington Human Rights Commission will assist employees who have claims of discrimination against their employers - IF the employer has eight or more employees. The question is - how does that threshold apply - to full time employees only or to all employees?
The answer is - all employees. If an employer has eight or more employees, be those all part time, all full time, or any combination of full and part time, the Washington Human Rights Commission will provide assistance to employees with illegal discrimination claims.
Employees who work for companies with fewer than eight employees may still pursue claims of illegal employment discrimination, but the Human Rights Commission is not available to assist them.
